FOURBILLION is Scott Cameron’s engineering business. Scott’s background is in AI delivery and technical leadership, helping enterprise teams get real results from AI rather than demos. FOURBILLION is a consultancy that takes that experience to products that have to work in the physical world.

Hardware projects rarely fail on the engineering alone. They fail because nobody owns the whole thing. Specs drift from schematics, firmware starts late, a part goes out of stock, and the first board spin is also the first review. Good delivery practice fixes most of that: decisions written down, risks named early, a review before every expensive step, and progress the client can see.

Why audio first

Because we build it. 4B Core is our own embedded audio platform and 4B Pedal Platform is the software around it. We also make effects under our GOREBANG brand. That work is how we know where pedal projects go wrong, and it’s the proof that we can deliver one.

What we help with

AI can speed up research, specs, schematic capture, firmware and test, and it can add things the product itself can do. None of that counts unless the result survives contact with a real board, a real supply chain and a real customer. We help teams get the speed and keep the rigour: every part choice checked against a primary datasheet and live stock, and every design reviewed before it’s built.

It starts as consulting. When a client wants us to build the product with them, we offer full-service delivery too.

The name is a rough count of the people now alive who could learn to build almost anything. When building gets cheap, the hard part is deciding what’s worth building, and then delivering it.
